This is a wonderful resort. The people working here were very accommodating. Parking a truck in the underground parking is not recommended. They have some fun activity things like live music night marshmallow roasting. We used the boat slips and Brian was awesome to deal with. It has a beach but the rotary beach a block away is perfect for kids and adults (alcohol is allowed on the beach). The rooms have a well stocked kitchen and comfortable sitting areas and beds. Definitely coming back.
Fantastic stay-cation , taking advantage of the cupid crush special for valentines! A very relaxing time to connect and rejuvenate. Can't wait for our next stay .
I attended a two work conference here and was blown away! As a gluten-free vegan, I usually bring my own food, otherwise I’m living on just potatoes and salad, but the meals were absolutely amazing, with delicious, protein-rich options thoughtfully prepared just for me. A huge shoutout to Michelle and her team—she’s warm, funny, and made sure everyone was cared for. The hotel is spotless, comfortable, and in a beautiful location. I can’t wait to come back, next time for pleasure!
We stayed here for a week. The room has a great kitchen so we could make some of our own meals. The Bistro breakfast was good. The vegan sandwich was exceptional. Staff were helpful when needed. The hottub is perfect. The room / balcony design allows curtains to be open for the view but still maintain a lot of privacy. Underground parking is excellent. Hope to return in the future!
Had a wonderful family stay here. Front desk lady was so kind and sweet. Housekeeping was helpful. Rooms were clean and had access to everything we needed. Highly recommend!
It's my favourite place to stay in the Okanagan, maybe my favourite place anywhere. It's vary relaxing, beautiful view, the resort is so well cared for, and the rooms are the cleanest, best-maintained I know. It's the best getaway spot. And they have a really fun and friendly attitude - I got a kick out of the note under my door when we switched to daylight savings time while I was there.
With the hustle and bustle of the busy holiday season, we decided to pause and give ourselves the joy of a local staycation at one of our favourite hidden gems, the Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa. The resort is always decorated beautifully for the festive season, inside and out. The location is amazing with incredible views of Okanagan Lake, and one of our favourite walks is on the lakefront boardwalk by the resort. We enjoyed a special festive event called Suds & Snacks with local craft beers from Detonate Brewing and pairings from Chef Ashley from Chefs with Thyme. Add in some time with friends, a relaxing overnight stay, a hot tub, and chilling with our dogs Mikki and Merlot, and it was a festive escape close to home. Suds, Snacks & Staycation was a great way to ease into the holiday season, and a special way to enjoy the festivities. We love staying at the Summerland Waterfront Resort. The front desk staff always greet our dogs with a treat. Plus, there are lots of dogs and people to visit when we walk the trail by the resort.
We had a lovely trip to summerland waterfront resort. The property was beautiful and had great amenities. We loved the sauna, pool and hot tubs! We had one encounter with a rude man at the front desk, but other than that all the staff were so lovely! The bistro and restaurant were also pretty good.
